Heyrod Village Hall is a quintessential community hub located in Tameside, Greater Manchester. Our modern facilities provide a welcoming space for village activities, meetings, social groups, private parties, and business use. We take pride in being an ideal venue for private hire, clubs, classes, and fundraising functions. If you're interested in learning more about us, feel free to browse through our site and see what we have to offer.

We are dedicated to bringing together the diverse residents of our village and creating a space that honors our rich heritage while providing modern amenities. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, we invite you to join us and be a part of our inclusive and welcoming community.

Our core values include :

Community : •Here for the local community, providing a service and network for local residents and bringing the community together

Diversity : Open and diverse – everyone is welcome – not just residents and is representative of the diversity of the community.

Heritage : Building on the foundations and history of the Village to create a modern space for today's community.

The Village Hall in Heyrod was built in 1981 on the site of the old school and playground. The Heyrod Residents' Association (HRA) was formed in 1977 and was built by the efforts of the community who raised funds through various means. If you live in Heyrod, it's likely that you or previous residents of your property contributed to the construction of this important community space, and continues to support the current residents and broader community.

Volunteer Group

Heyrod Residents'  Association (HRA)

Heyrod Residents Association (HRA) is the community-based organization that manages and maintains Heyrod Village Hall. The hall relies on the support of volunteers to run day-to-day operations. Money generated from hall rentals and fundraising events goes towards the ongoing maintenance of the building.

Anyone with an interest in Heyrod is welcome to join the group.

500 Club

British Pound Notes

The 500 Club is a great way to support the upkeep of the village hall while also having a chance to win something back. With a minimum stake of just £1 per month, you can have as many numbers as you want in multiples of £1. The draw is made each month, and the prize fund is half of all the monies collected the preceding calendar month, with that amount producing three prizes in the ratio 50:25:25. For example if £200 is received in the month £100 would go to the Village Hall funs and the prize pot would be £100, with prizes of £50, and two prizes of £25 each.

Join now and contribute to the community funds while having a chance to win!
